Terra spacecraft and instrument subsystems are in nominal operations.
Terra experienced a data loss as a result of addressing the TDW/TD-6 spacecraft emergency. The White Sands Operations Supervisor informed the FOT that TDW/TD-6 had declared a spacecraft emergency and was RED until further notice. The Terra FOT reacted to extend the next pass by 8 minutes but this requires deleting the existing service. The following scheduling attempts did not succeed. Subsequent setup attempts resulted in a short ten minute blind acquisition support and the team was not able to setup Terra in time for a science dump. The MODIS and MISR SSR buffers filled to capacity shortly after the end (LOS) of the blind acquisition support. The team is evaluating the event.
