Terra Mission Status Update
January 19 - 25, 2007
Terra Automation Working Group met this week and continues progress on the new system.
The temperature setpoint of the Capillary Pumped Heat Transport System (CPHTS) was successfully lowered on the Terra ASTER instrument on January 24. The Short Wave Infrared detector temperature decreased approximately 0.1K which will improve science measurements. The commanding was conducted from GSFC with the ASTER team in Japan jointly monitoring telemetry.
