Terra Weekly Mission Status Update

June 16 - June 22, 2006

Terra spacecraft subsystems and instruments remain nominal.

Terra Automation Working Group met this week and continues progress on the new system.

ESMO is coordinating an ASTER Direct Downlink (DDL) Test Plan Working Group.

Terra Nav Drag update was performed this week. Updates were performed using the absolute memory location load method but did not yield the desired results. After investigation, the Table Load method was used and performed successfully. The procedure took longer than planned. Flight Dynamics is analyzing data to determine if Terra exceeded pointing requirements during this time.
