The Measurements Of Pollution In The Troposphere (MOPITT) instrument will measure the global distribution and concentration of carbon monoxide and methane in the lower atmosphere. With a viewing swath width of more than 600 km, MOPITT will achieve global coverage roughly every 4 or 5 days.
